Each puzzle is generated deterministically from its puzzle number, so the same number always gives the same puzzle on the same settings. The collection covers Animals, School, Nature, Food, Space, Sports, Technology, Travel, Community and Colors.
How the 1,000-Puzzle System Works
Use the Puzzle Number box to jump directly to puzzles 1–1000. New Puzzle moves you to another puzzle. Each puzzle has a theme, word set and seed, while the actual grid is generated in the browser. This keeps the package small and allows the game to work without a database or paid game service.
How to Play
- Select a puzzle number or press New Puzzle.
- Choose Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Find a word from the list in the grid.
- Touch/click the first letter and drag to the final letter.
- Correct answers turn green and are crossed off.
- Find every word to trigger the celebration.
